Very clean install. Why is there not a valve installed so the owner can drain the pool if they need to? The reason why I ask is because my system doesn’t have a drain either.

That was one of the first cartridge filter systems that we installed. We was used to doing DE and sand with multi-port valves that had the waste line built in. On other cartridge systems we installed we did put in the valve so that the pool could be drained. Was going to put one in on this system when we realized it but the homeowner told us he was fine with it and not to worry about it.
